Arlington Industries LVU1W recessed low voltage box is the perfect space saver behind plasmas, LCD TV, or wherever you need to preserve space. The recessed low voltage box allows for AV cables to come out of the wall starting from behind the sheetrock surface. The recessed feature allows connectors to be set back so flat-panel TVs can be placed closer to the wall. Not using connector plates?? That’s OK, the recessed feature also allows cables to start bending sooner enabling closer placement of flat-panel TVs. The LV1U’s innovative design also allows for new construction or retrofit applications and includes all the hardware needed.

The LVU1W is a recessed, one-gang low voltage mounting box suitable for installing low-voltage Class 2 wiring in both retrofit and new construction. The recessed design makes it ideal for use behind TV’s or any location where extra space is needed.

Installation
The LVU1W allows for versatile installation because it can be used in both new and retrofit construction. Installation is quick and easy in both settings. Simply use the bracket as a template for the cut-out. As the mounting screws are tightened, the specially designed wings flip up, locking the box firmly in place. Attachable knockouts for cable raceways are included for use in new construction and snap on with ease. The LVU1W also feature includes loops to tie-off wires.
Customizable
The non-metallic trim plate is constructed of paintable plastic that grants a smooth match for any dŠ¹cor. The LVY1W also adjusts to fit 1/4in to 1-1/2in wall thicknesses and so can be used in almost any application.
